Welcome to the Recipe Library, a space to reach for cooking ideation, to facilitate experimenting, and to encourage you to steer the ship for your own flavour palette and preferences. The playfulness of food takes centre stage here, seeing the kitchen as a playground of possibility, for punctuating our days with the sensory pleasure flavourful food can offer. Cooking as potion making, without boundaried recipes , but principles of building flavour and a roadmap of how to extend or a recipe idea and use it laterally with what is available. This space also holds a sympathetic realism about the struggles of full lives and cooking. I use a modular approach mostly, prepping different meal elements when I have small pockets of time, using them in different ways, across different meals, which, as you use these recipes, you’ll discover more about. My food is increasingly focussed on nervous system support; plant diversity, high quality protein, healthful fats, complex carbohydrates and JOY. I also use a range of tonic hers and adaptogens, which are optional of course! In my Store Cupboard Library and at Home Apothecary Library you’ll find bundles of these less familiar kitchen tools, which i find to be nourishful and support the way I want to feel.
